BLogPoll-MLB Rankings Mid June

Written by The Baseball Network on 16 June 2010.

power rankings hockey feature

Once we've polled our esteemed MLB bloggers to see their thoughts on how things are shaking out this season. Before we get to the rankings here are some things that stood out:

- The Yankees coming off of a hot May have now jumped the Rays by thinnest of margins

- The AL boasts 4 out of the top 5 teams. The NL also has the distinction of having 5 of the bottom 8 teams.

- Perennial contenders in the Angels, Braves, and Red Sox all made big moves jumping up 8 spots or more.

- NL favorites found themselves in freefall as both the Phillies and the Cardinals plunged with bad starting pitching being a common theme.

- Teams 9-13 are seperated by less than a game and a half and are all in the NL. You're looking at the NL playoff bubble.

Without further ado......
