2010 Blogpoll Week 1
Every week we'll be checking with our esteembed NFL bloggers to see how the stack up the NFL teams. Its early, but a lot of big impressions were made in week. Before we get to the rankings, here are some things that stood out.
- The AFC seems to be revered as the superior conference as 6 out of the top 9 teams were from the conference. NFC backers however can point to the fact that the NFC holds the top two spots in the rankings.
- The Chargers, Colts, and Cowboys all were ranked ahead of the teams they beat this past weekend ( Chiefs, Texans, and Redskins). All 3 teams lost on the road, so the voters seem to have taken that into account.
- 3 playoff teams from last year found themslves in the bottom half of the rankings with the Eagles and Bengals paying the price for losses and the Cardinals not impressing in their win versus the Rams.
- The Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, and Eagles are the only division that find themselves within 7 sports of each other.
