BlogPoll NFL Power Rankings Week 15
Another exciting week of football is in the books. The Saints quest for the perfect season is done while the Colts came out victorious in another close game. With a lot of playoff implications stil being played out here are some items that stood out in this week's power rankings:
- The Raiders may end up with one of the highest tallies of wins versus playoff teams. This seems to be getting them respect as they're ranked the highest out of all the 5 win teams. Through out the season the Raiders have been towards the bottom of whatever group of teams shared the same record as them.
- The Colts now have sole position of first place after last weeks tie. Despite the perfect record, there still are skeptics with the Saints and Chargers receiving first place votes.
- There are 5 teams with a 9-5 record and all find themselves squeezed together with only 1.3 average ranking between them all.
- There are 10 teams on the bubble with either a 8-6 or 7-7 record. Get ready to consult your tie breaker info as the majority of these teams will be left on the outside looking in.
- Teams 13-18 are all from the AFC making a log jam scenario for the last wild card spot.
- The Rams got every last place vote and seem to be a lock for the first pick of the draft at this point.
