Another exciting week of football is in the books. With a lot of playoff implications still being played out here are some items that stood out in this week's power rankings:

- Despite only having 1 loss mainly due to the pulling of its starters, the voters really like the Chargers as they came within a couple votes of overtaking the Colts.

- The Saints have fallen from first to fourth in 2 weeks and received 3 votes that were not in the top 5. Lot of skepticism surrounds their playoff viability.

- There are 7 teams with a 8-7 record and while they share the same record, their average ranking is anywhere from 11.6- 17.5

- The bell curve is a little misshaped this year. The NFL only has one 6-9 team and no 9-6 teams which is very odd considering 13 teams have 7 or 8 wins and losses yet only 1 team has 6 wins or losses.

- The 11-15 teams in this week's ranking all hail from the AFC and are the reason why any playoff scenario articles will make your head hurt.
