BlogPoll NFL Power Rankings- Week 4
The Bloguin network has ranked the NFL from top to bottom once again after a very insightful week 4.
This past weekend featured three games in which top ten teams were pitted against each other. Now that the dust has settled from those games, here is a look at how our bloggers view where we are at the quarter point of the season.
Things that stood out:
- Only 3 teams moved up or down more than 4 spots in this weeks power rankings. The Broncos moved up 6 spots to number 11 while the Packers and Chargers dropped 5 spots each.
- 4 more teams have byes this week. Out of the first 8 teams to have byes, only one has come from the AFC (Chargers this week). The teams with byes last week all moved, but only up or down 1 spot.
- There are four teams that are 4-0. Three of them are at the top of the rankings while the Broncos are not even in the top ten.
- The bottom 5 teams all lost and none of them moved up or down in the rankings. The bottom 4 teams (Bucs, Chiefs, Browns, and Rams) are very close in terms of their aggregated ranking.
- Even with 4 teams having byes, there are whopping 4 games that pit 2 teams that have adjacent rankings against each other ( 49ers vs. Falcons, Seattle vs Jacksonville, Texans vs. Cardinals, Panthers vs. Redskins)
- There are 4 very competitive clusters in terms of aggregrated ankings. Looks for a lot of movement and flip flopping as teams 7-12, 17-20, 21-24, and 29-32 have all been tabbed as patches of parody.
