Well that wasn't the best weekend of NFL football with a quite a bit of mismatches and blowouts.  To make sense of all this madness the Bloguin network has stacked up the teams from top to bottom hoping to give you clarity as we approach the 1/2 point of the football season.

Below are some things that really stood out:

- For the first time all season there is a lack of conference balance with 5 AFC teams in the top 7.

- 5 NFC teams find themselves stuck together ranked 8-12

- 6 teams have a bye this upcoming week. 3 of them are top 7 teams while the other 3 are bottom 7 teams, which will help with less blowouts.

- There are 2 NFL playoff rematches from last year with the Eagles taking on the Giants and the Panthers traveling to Arizona.

- With a 3-3 record, Baltimore is ranked 13th with 4 teams having a better record ranked behind them.

- Teams 14-17 who are on the outside looking in for a playoff bubble, all play a team ranked in the 20's and hope to gain ground for a playoff spot.
