NHL Blog Poll Power Rankings- November 5
Through out the year, we'll ask our esteemed Bloguin hockey blogs to vote on the NHL from top to bottom. It's early in the season, but at our second check point there are a lot of important takeaways. Things that stand out include:
- Our top 10 is equally balanced between the Western and Eastern conferences with five teans per conference
- There are 5 teams remaining with no ties. Out of those 5 teams, 3 find themselves stacked together ranked 9-11.
- The Maple Leafs and the Stars have more ties than the entire Northwest Division.
- 2 teams climbed more double digit spots in the rankings (Pheonix and Vancouver) while 2 teams dropped more than 10 spots (Columbus and Anahiem)
- Our bottom two teams are either winless at home (Toronto) or winless on the road (Carolina), while our top team (Pittsburgh) has yet to lose a game on the road.
