USC making friends at Sun Bowl

Hours later, it all came crashing down.
Whatever goodwill the Trojans had built up on their holiday trip to the Sun Bowl courtesy of Kiffin’s hat dance was gone in the span of 90 minutes.

An hour and a half of a half-empty “Sheriff’s Posse” shindig.
An hour and a half of legendary El Paso house band Old & Ugly jamming for a sparsely crowded event center.
An hour and a half of Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets eating in near silence.

On the bright side, if the Trojans were disappointed with their bowl invitation this year, they probably won't be invited back any time soon.
Any SC coach from the past would have seriously considered declining this bowl invitation. It is about as bad for their rep as gettin their a55 handed to em by UCLA! The legacy and cache of the immortal bigger than life USC Trojans is fading fast. Don't really care what Haden is saying publicly...I got a feeling his phone is in 'blowup' mode tryin to find the right guy to get it turned around.

no surprise for me coming from the university of spoiled children. cant wait to see them sleep walk thru the game and then wake up in the fourth quarter and realize they have to actually play because winning this game is not a usc birthrite, despite what they may think. oh, and I have been to usc's campus, the area around it is like a warzone and LA over all outside of the tourist traps is like one huge fifty year old strip mall with bad parking.
No way... USC being a bunch of spoiled little bitches? Who couldn't see that coming... You went 7-5 and are lucky to be in a bowl game... Perhaps they should taste a losing season and be thankful for being in a bowl game period.
