Patrick Roy made quite the memorable impression during his first game as the coach of the Colorado Avalanche. Shortly after the final horn of a 6-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks, Roy got into a verbal altercation with Corey Perry. Anaheim head coach Bruce Boudreau took offense and rushed over to exchange some words with Roy. Roy's heated reaction will require the workers at the Pepsi Arena to make some repairs to the pane of glass and stanchion between the two benches.
One game and Roy has already broken something. We know the line was set pretty low, but that sort of explosion was quick even for Roy's standards.
Is this not exactly what we expected (some might even say 'wanted") from Patrick Roy as coach of the Avalanche?
what a hot head...he lost a lot of my respect when he quit on the Canadians as a goalie...little baby whiner...guess he's gonna be that way as a coach too..
