Want to drop $13,000 on a basketball?

Okay, to be fair, it's only $12,900. Discount!

Hermes – which, based on my twenty seconds of googling, is a company that sells ridiculously overpriced accessories to rich people with emotional problems – has designed a one-of-a-kind basketball for it's Los Angeles store.

It comes in fashion blue, with the logo embossed. And while the CEO of the company says that "it can certainly be used for play – the leather is sturdy, and why not make such a unique item come to life on the court," the ball has a raised seam running down the middle. That might make dribbling a challenge.

For whatever idiot buys this thing, I'd recommend spending $65 on a NCAA approved Wilson Solution, and donating the balance to the V Foundation.
