(12) Creighton 78 (19-3, 9-1) DePaul 66 (10-14, 2-9)

The Blue Jays didn't shoot the 3 ball well, 7-25, but the rest of their offense was efficient enough to keep the Blue Demons at bay. It was a historic game for Doug McDermott. During the course of action, he made his 1,000th field goal and pulled down his 1,000th rebound. McDermott had 32 on 9-21, 13-14 FTs, and 9. The only other Blue Jay in double figures at Austin Chatman, who had 11 and 5 assists. DePaul's Brandon Young scored 16 on 5 of 17 shooting. The Blue Demons shot 40%, 35%, 61.5%.
