The All Valentines Day Team

Happy Valentines Day. Whether you are going out for some sushi with your sweetheart, or settling in with a pint of Ben & Jerry's, we are choosing to celebrate by unveiling college basketball's all time team:

G: Jason Hart (Syracuse, 1996-2000)

Hart led the Big East in minutes played as a Freshman, the first Frosh to ever accomplish that feat. He was the school's all time steals leader and second in assists by the time he was done, and was first team All Big East as a Senior.

G: Darnell Valentine (Kansas, 1977-1981)

Valentine was a member of the 1980 men's Olympic team, which ended up boycotting the Moscow Olympics. While at Kansas he averaged over 15 points per game, and was a three time Academic All-American. He was drafted in the first round by the Portland Trail Blazers

G: Derrick Rose (Memphis, 2007-08)

Rose played one season at Memphis, losing just two games and making it all the way to the national title game. He was drafted #1 by the Bulls, and though he has won an NBA MVP he might end up being more famous for his injuries.

F: Kevin Love (UCLA, 2007-08)

Love was a national player of the year candidate in his one season at UCLA. He led the Bruins to the 2008 Final Four where they lost to Memphis in the semifinals. He was then drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft and has been a superstar for the Minnesota Timberwolves ever since.

F: Courtney Paris (Oklahoma, 2005-09)

Paris is for lovers, and Oklahoma fans loved Courtney in her time in Norman. She's the only player ever to amass 700 points, 500 rebounds, and 100 blocks in a season. She is also the only player to score 2,500 points and grab 2,000 rebounds in a career. She's the first Sophomore to win national player of the year, and she made the national title game in her final year at Oklahoma
