Spencer Dinwiddie Injured In Colorado’s Loss to Washington

Colorado suffered a 71-54 defeat at Washington, a scoreline that looks shocking until you see the real reason why they lost: Colorado point guard Spencer Dinwiddie went down with a potentially serious knee injury against the Huskies.

I won't speculate as to the severity of the injury, but needless to say if it's anything serious then Colorado's chances of doing anything in the postseason are basically nil. Dinwiddie is Colorado's best player, its leader, and, as a 6'6" point guard who can defend and make threes, a bonafide NBA prospect. His 131.4 offensive rating ranks in the top 35 nationally, and he's 19th in true shooting percentage.

Colorado's loss drops them to 3-1 in the Pac 12, with UCLA and USC coming to Boulder before a trip to face both Arizona schools.
