Braves announcer Joe Simpson wants a fight

During yesterday's Braves-Mets game, Atlanta announcer Joe Simpson went off on a fan who tweeted that Simpson had been arrested for DUI. The actual Joe Simpson arrested for DUI was Jessica Simpson's father Joe, and not Atlanta's color commentator. Of course, that didn't stop Simpson at all from going off on the fan for a case of mistaken identity, even inferring that he wanted to FIGHT the fan.

Good god. Combine this meltdown with play by play man Chip Caray's anti-Obama tweets last month, and you have to wonder if the fine folks at Fox Sports South are thinking of making a change to their stagnant, boring, and disappointing TV announce team for 2013.
