VIDEO: Fan makes catch while holding baby

Written by Joe Lucia on .

From tonight's Braves-Cubs game, a ball is fouled off down the right field line. A Braves fan cradling a baby in his right arm snags the foul ball with his left hand while managing to not drop the baby (dressed in Cubs gear). Perhaps more impressive is that the fan who caught the ball had to contend with another fan going after the ball with his right hand, while bracing himself with his left.

Great job by this Braves fan at not dropping his child, and getting a souvenir for the kid that will make an interesting story when he grows up.

Hmmm... that strikes me as the irresponsibility equivalent of Steve Irwin feeding a croc while holding HIS baby. I'd have turned my back to the incoming foul ball and shielded the baby with my body...

And "u" must be a redneck who drives a white-trashy, mid-90s Mustang. But, for the record, I drive a hot hatch with a 6spd stick - but, yeah, maybe I'm P whiped (sic).
