Brandon Belt topples into crowd catching pop-up

Written by Joe Lucia on .

In the first inning of Saturday's NLDS game one between the Reds and Giants, Cincinnati shotstop Todd Frazier hit a pop-up to the first base side of the field. San Francisco first baseman Brandon Belt settled near the railing, reached into the camera well, and made the catch, toppling into the well and nearly taking out a cameraman or two. Belt held on to the ball, getting the out and somehow escaping serious injury in the process.
