Jarrod Parker loses a ball in his jersey

Written by Joe Lucia on .

Ah yes, the odd baseball happening of losing a ball in your jersey...it happened on Friday night to Jarrod Parker of the A's. Ichiro Suzuki of the Yankees hit a comebacker to the mound, and the ball went through the neck hole in Parker's shirt. The Oakland starter couldn't find the ball for a second before reaching down, and not being able to get it, resigning himself to the fact that he was just done in by a fluky play.

The Yankees didn't score in the third, and the hit really did no harm to Parker's evening overall.
