I Know It's Only Rock N Roll But I Like It! NFL Week 12 Recap

Written by Daniel Eliesen on .

Denver 16 San Diego 13 – Keeping the Faith by Billy Joel

When Tim Tebow win’s….the world wins!

This game had everything, Tebow…Rivers struggling again…Norv Turner needing to be fired and even kickers peeing on the sidelines.

While it wasn’t a typical come back Tebow win, and the end of the day like he seems to do all the time Tim Tebow came away with the W for the Broncos improving to 5-1 as a starter.

I could give you a full on analysis of how the Chargers play but at the end of the day it comes down to Norv Turner. The Chargers will never be a contender when he is their head coach and I think that news flash is finally starting to kick in.

It would appear Norv has spent another year wasting away the talent in San Diego while Tebow has a legit shot at the division.

New England 38 Philadelphia 20 – We Will Rock You by Queen

The New England Patriots are back! It has taking this team a little time to truly gel after coming out of the gates on fire in week one but it would appear that the Pats have made their way up the rankings to the 2nd best team in the NFL.

Tom Brady had another dominant 3 touchdown performance as he was able to pick apart what was suppose to be a very good Eagles defence.

While the arrow is trending up for the Pats, after last weeks excitement in Philadelphia you can now all but kick the Eagles out of the playoff race. In what was supposed to be the Eagles year, it would seem everything has gone wrong.

To add insult to injury, this mess that is DeSean Jackson appear to be only becoming a bigger distraction. Jackson has probably cost himself a lot of money in next year’s free agency. Its been a good run for Andy Reid but that might come to an end this off-season

New York Jets 28 Buffalo 24 – Come Together by the Beatles

It wasn’t pretty but at the end of the day a win is a win. The Jets seem to always get away with murder as Mark Sanchez had one of the ugliest 4 TD games a QB could have. Buffalo looked the best they have since their 5-2 start really playing the Jets well. However bonehead drops by Stevie Johnson on the games final drive set this team back.

Fitzpatrick played a solid game and kept the Bills in it the entire game but when the game was on the line his top target didn’t give him much help.

For those who missed it Stevie Johnson had the TD celebration of the year mocking Plaxico’s gun shooting incident but his cockiness came to bite him in the ass by the games end.

Oakland 25 Chicago 20 – Someone Like you By Adele

Jay Cutler has been criticizes his whole career but this Sunday, Bears fans really got a strong dose of how much they need him.

Cutlers injury could not have come at a worse time as the Bears team was really gelling into what appeared to be a legit playoff team. Now with Caleb Hannie at the helm it will be interesting to see if the Bears can manage enough wins to get them into the wildcard.

Oakland didn’t play its best however was missing its two best player makers at receiver. The Raiders left Sundays game with all they needed a win and a nice grip on the AFC west division lead.
