Garrett Reid found dead in his room

Andy Reid was absent for the Eagles' walkthrough at Lehigh University earlier this morning. The Eagles cited a "personal issue" as the reason, but tragically it runs deeper than a personal issue.

After practice, the Eagles announced at a press conference that Andy Reid's son, Garrett, has been found dead in his room at Lehigh.

GM Howie Roseman said of Andy Reid, "He's been strong for us, we're going to be strong for him right now."

Lehigh UPD indicated that there was no evidence of foul play.

Following the press conference, the Eagles released the following statement, "This news is heartbreaking for everyone in the Eagles family. Our hearts go out to Andy, his wife, Tammy, and their children."

Certainly our sentiments at TGS mirror those of the Eagles organization, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Reid family.
