Seahawks trade Jackson to Bills
The success of rookie Russell Wilson this preseason in Seattle has given the team some peace of mind at the quarterback position, and they've dealt last year's starter Tarvaris Jackson to the Bills in exchange for an undisclosed draft pick. Jackson's starting job looked to be in jeopardy this offseason when the Seahawks signed former Packers backup Matt Flynn, but it seemed like he'd at least have a handle on a backup position.
With Jackson heading to Buffalo, he'll likely serve as the backup to incumbent starter Ryan Fitzpatrick. This also doesn't bode well for Vince Young, signed by the Bills for $2 million this offseason after serving as the backup in Philadelphia and struggling terribly. With the Eagles, Young threw for 866 yards, four touchdowns, and nine interceptions in three starts.
The best option for Young is to win the third QB job in Buffalo over Tyler Thigpen, who threw just eight passes last season as Fitzpatrick's backup. The Bills also have Brad Smith on the roster, and the former Missouri QB has been a jack of all trades Wildcat threat over his career. Looking at all of the available players, the choice for Bills head coach Chan Gailey will come down to Young or Thigpen.

@CollegeWolf @Daddyfatsax yea not even close. I would say the rest of their team is more developed than the Vikes so don't feel bad for them. Just keep feeling bad for us...Wolves, Vikes, Twins, Gophers...at least the Wild MIGHT be good.
