Atlanta airport egger quits his job

The long "eggman" that pelted the Saints team bus in late November quit after being questioned by police according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The employee, a restaurant worker, has reportedly had his security badge deactivated, and he no longer has access to the airport as an employee. The company he worked for has also been fined, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The entire incident has been somewhat blown out of proportion by security and the police. The egging was rude, but it was also comical in some way, and it's a shame too. Reading and hearing about funny tidbits like this is eggsactly why I love sports and sports fans. And now, I'm done with silly egg plays; I promise.
