Morning Huddle - Benson, Loomis can talk about the NBA

Written by Shane Clemons on .

Drew Brees through a Twitter shoe at President Bush when he compared Bountygate to finding WMDs in Iraq.

Saints owner Tom Benson and suspended general manager Mickey Loomis will be allowed to meet during Loomis' 8 game suspension. The reason is that Benson owns the New Orleans Hornets, and Loomis is director of basketball operations for the NBA squad. The NFL expects Loomis and Benson to only discuss NBA matters, something that will be nearly impossible to enforce, but the NFL is also trying not to step on the NBA's toes. It looks like Loomis and Benson will be able to spend many hours together talking exclusively of basketball *cough*.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Vikings' wide receiver Percy Harvin is requesting that the team trade him. While the link leads to possibly the shortest report in NFL.com history, I can tell you that the trade request reveals a lot about the state of the Minnesota Vikings. I'll put it this way. Good players want to be on good teams, and they'll put up with far more crap to stay on a good team. On the other hand, good players want to get away from bad teams, and this seems to be one of those cases.

Drew Brees is in damage control mode after comparing the Bountygate investigation to finding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Then, he told Ed Werder via text message, "I have an extreme respect for our military and have not nor will I ever compare football to war." The irony there is that, yes, Brees has already compared football to war. Without war, is there any real use for nuclear weapons?

The Media & Liberal base, bias mislead people from the truth: if Drew Brees were too of ever been deployed overseas, he might have been able to see, 1 of the many WMD’s buried in the sand by Sodom’s Regime. I swear; they were & still are there (in the sand(s), waiting to be discovered), the Media just won’t tell people the truth.

If you would like, I can try & retrieve a picture of one of them for Mr. Brees. Let me tell you all, that what General Powel disclosed in 2002, was & is very real. The threat to America was exactly how the Bush administration described. Wow; & coming from a guy who has spent time with our troops doing various training exercises.

It is not right to talk smack to Bush; Brees is very wrong… everybody else that is in denial, is living in deception. Don’t do this Brees, I am telling you from one God fearing, or loving person to the next, don’t say that… please.

If anyone would like to see a picture of 1, or even many that our troops had dug up, you can hunt me down, & I will comply with what I said here. Otherwise, I will be back to chec on this here ater on.
