Jets loss forces Rex Ryan to make a decision
Written by Shane Clemons on .
The Jets and Rex Ryan reached a major point of importance today in their loss to the Miami Dolphins. With a record of just 3-5, the Jets can lose one or two more games at the most and still make the playoffs.
Their are two people on extremely hot seats right now. The first is head coach Rex Ryan. Without a playoff birth, it seems unlikely the Jets will retain him as their head coach. The other person on a toasty seat is Mark Sanchez, and his grip on the Jets' starting quarterback position seems to be growing weaker with every passing week.
Mark Sanchez has little control over his future outside of playing well on Sundays, something he hasn't done consistently at all this season. On the other hand, Rex Ryan does hold some level of control. This is his football, and it's now time for him to make a major decision about his team moving forward.
At face value, it appears that Ryan has two options at quarterback, but he actually has a third option which I'll get to in due time.
Option number one for Rex Ryan and the Jets is to stick with Mark Sanchez as the team's starting quarterback. This is the equivalent of a captain staying with his ship, regardless of whether it sinks or floats. Considering the way that Sanchez has played this season, it seems more like going down with the ship than anything else.
The first alternative to staying the course is to give in to the hype machine and install Tim Tebow as the starting quarterback. This is a drastic alternative as it changes the way the offense must function. There's no doubt that Mark Sanchez is a superior passer, but Tebow opens up the running game in a big way. Using Tebow would also help the Jets keep the game's score lower, giving themselves a chance to win a game late. Yes, it's a dramatic move, but at this point what is there to lose?
The final and least talked about alternative is to promote Greg McElroy to the starting job. In his limited action with the team (most of which came in preseason play), McElroy has looked competent, and his entrance into the game could just be that "spark" so many ill-fated teams are chasing. The attractive part of this option is that it allows your offense to function in a very similar way as it does with Sanchez taking the snaps. Frankly, I'm not sure why McElroy's name hasn't been mentioned more around the media outlets.
There it is. Rex Ryan has three options to pick from. With five losses, the lack of a change becomes a de-facto decision by Ryan. The danger is that if he waits any longer to switch it up, it'll already be too late. The ball's in Rex Ryan's court. Don't be surprised if we hear big news out of New York this week.

Boy! It seems the only thing that draws more reaction than calling Tim Tebow a bad quarterback is to call Mark Sanchez a good one.
I guess Sanchez was on special teams Sunday. It was 10-0 before he touched the ball.Another guess is you wanted him gone after his first 2 seasons. If you say yes you are full of it.They had no reason to pick up Tebow.Ellway was doing cartwheels when we did.Mark started strong now he is haveing his rookie year,by the way with a new group of receivers this is the 4th group in 4 years. The reason Tebow is here is because of Woody.Hes like Steinbrenner only less vocal. He escaped that FARVE DEBACLE because of Sanchez. If they let mark play with 10 players every play and stop useing Tebow as a decoy Sanchez will bail woody out again
@James Gargano did you really just say stop using Tebow and Sanchez will bail woody out again??? lol.... are you watching these games???
Football is a game... Football is violent.... but.... why does football exist??? it exists because of THE FAN - UNDERSTAND THAT.... Tebow has more Fans AND Haters than any football player I have ever seen - EVER! NOW THAT IS A STAT TEBOW OWNS - argue with that.... Now, I'm in Denver, I don't watch College Football, but when Denver DRAFTED Tebow, He was the only Player I knew - Denver never should of gotten rid of him - hell, all he's doing in NY is sitting on the Bench - do you remember before Preseason started they were going to set up wildcat packages for him - the coaching staff doesn't know how to use him the way they planned and sending him in late on plays is a clear showing of that. Tebow taking up Sanchez's time SHOULD PUT A FIRE UNDER SANCHEZ'S BUT - But it doesn't, Sanchez does not have the "DESIRE TO WIN" like Tebow does... That is the whole reason why Tebow has such a strong following. I didn't say anything to you about Sanchez's career in the NFL - all I said was HE SUCKS.... HE TOTALLY SUCKS THIS YEAR.... As far as I'm concerned, Sanchez is THE WORST QB PLAYING RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW THIS SEASON - - - You think he's going to BAIL THE JETS OUT??? LOL..... Dude, are you watching the same games I am??? Sanchez needs to be benched. If Tebow didn't have such a following, it would of happened a long time ago. The Jets like Sanchez and that's their problem, Football is a business, it is a FAN'S ENTERTAINMENT... Sanchez is not doing anything for the Business of the Jets - AND WHERE IS THE EXCITEMENT??? The games I have watched, Sanchez doesn't know how to move around in the pocket, he gets fixated on ONE RECEIVER, He can't run, HE'S MEDIOCRE AT BEST. ......IT'S TIME.... IT'S WELL PAST THE TIME..... IT'S TEBOW TIME!!!! UNLEASH THE TEBOW!!!!!
You are lucky I'm not in NY, I'd have that crowd rock'n Mile High Style, Sanchez would be out and you'd be singing a different story like, I can't believe the Jets can beat this team and that one - lol
@MikeAnderson Yes i watch every game. This is not a team. They have better than average players at all positions. They are not playing like a team.We know injuries destroyed us at very important positions.Nobody can replace Revvus and even though Santonio has a bad attitude it looked like Mark and him were on the same page.Keller is back and that helps.Steven Hill has to start catching the ball and he can be a difference maker. He had that drop against N.E. that gives them a huge victory.Do you think they would have played Miami the same way if they brat the PATS?They had 7 drops sunday and Hill dropped a TDThey also missedPOUHA most of the season.Last year losing Mangold in that 3 game stretch was a killer.Woody should go sell his bandaids and Tannenbaum should go do what he does best, salary cap work.Sparano puzzles me.What is he?Sounds like another name.Every team has injuries but if the JET brass does what its supposed to then maybe they would have some depth
I can't believe you write an article saying to skip Tebow and go with the third string - lol.... Tebow did better than Sanchez in Preseason.... yeah, neither Tebow or Sanchez got a TD, but Tebow should of had one, the WR dripped it..... and did you really say Sanchez can pass better than Tebow??? lol.... obviously you're a Sanchez fan, cause if I owned the Jets, Sanchez would be at my house cleaning it instead of playing football....... ......Manning is starting to click with the Broncos big time it's taken at least 6 to 7 games to start to see it. If Tebow isn't playing QB by this next game, you might as well right off Sanchez as your favorite QB mr. Writer, cause they won't make the Playoffs and Sanchez and Ryan will both be looking for a Job..... Frankly, I think it is Ryan's fault, he should be putting Tebow in as many plays as a starting RB.
@MikeAnderson I guess it was Sanchez on special teams Sunday. Its a good thing you dont own the team. After Marks first 2 years you wanted to dump him then, and if you say yes YOU ARE FULL OF IT.Dont forget he came on strong and now hes having his rookie years.By the way another group of receivers That makes 4 seasons 4 different groups of receivers
@James Gargano @MikeAnderson Sanchez gets too much credit for getting the Jets into the championship game his first two years. With a top QB they would've probably won the Super Bowl. They had a great defense and the best running game in the AFC with a strong offensive line. All Sanchez had to do is hand the ball off and complete a few short passes. He managed the game well but the team carried him. Now that they don't have the great running game and he has to pass more we see that he isn't that good of a passer, and in today's pass oriented game you need someone who can complete passes downfield, not just 7 yard slants.
@James Gargano @RobertPandolfo Trade Deadline is tomorrow and I so much want to see Tebow traded.... I'm sorry, but I've watched the Jets this year, I have seen all but 3 games (including preseason) and they just don't impress me at all.... but, I've been spoiled by the Broncos all my life - Talk about 4th quarter comebacks, Sanchez isn't going to impress me, Tebow did that all last year and got the award for it.... and on top of that, look at the two Hall of fame QBs Denver has - Now that's 4th quarter comeback material. I'm really upset at the Jets for not giving Tebow a chance, it's sad to see him sitting on the bench and Sanchez is running around like a chicken with his head chopped off. I'd love to see Tebow go to Jacksonville or KC or Arizona..... I just don't feel the Jets deserve his talents..... so, yeah, I've got my fingers crossed Tebow gets a deal somewhere else - and the Jets should do it so they can bring in some help.
@MikeAnderson @James Gargano @RobertPandolfo Hey Mike just got your message.Youre just about right on the top 3 QBs I might give Ryan a shot I dont give up on a QB that comes into the NFL and starts right away. There is about a 5 year learning curve and when you start out with 2 good seasons ( out of 10 regress for a year or 2.They need to run the ball.Sanchez is 1 of the top play action QBs.You can look back At his first 2 seasons to see that and look at his 4th qtr comebacks i know you will be surprised. He is a rhythm QB and Sparano takes the rhythm out of the game.Sparano has him looking over his shoulder when they get to the red zoneLook up the Jets and Marks Stats in the red zone the 1rst 2 years one of the best in the game. Its almost like a curse to start on top and then adjust.Rodgers is in the top 3 QBS forgot about him.Brady and Rodgers sat for a few years and learned on the sideline. There is a big difference. They have to ship Tebow out and get there running game going again. Then we will see
@James Gargano @RobertPandolfo OH S-IT!!! Not only are you a Sanchez fan, you're a Flacco fan too? OMG!!! listen, I love my Broncos, but I know football, I watch other teams.... I hate seeing players hurt because who wants to watch a team play that is missing it's stars? Here is the Thing about Tebow, he gives credit to everyone around him and if you force it down his throat and you demand that he is the reason, he'll tell you it's all God...... Flacco? Flacco??? This guy has NEVER Impressed me as a QB - just like Sanchez - Hell, I'd put the two QBs in the same class, they both suck and if it wasn't for their Defenses being top notch, they would of been out of the NFL a long, long time ago.
I'm afraid to hear who you'd pick as the top 3 QBs of today are.... I bet you'd pick, Sanchez, Flacco and Romo..... I'd pick Brady, Manning and Manning. Give up on Sanchez, he's never going to get you to a CHAMPIONSHIP - NEVER!!!
The important word is TEAM and all woody and Tannenbaum Have not filled this team well.Instead of wasting that money on Tebow why not another Offensive lineman or another or another RB.McKnight will develop but i would keep him running back kicks.Leon Washington was able to do both and he was strong enough to do it.That horrible injury, well not many people could have come back from that.I was there in Oakland that day and i heard him screaming in pain. You were able to hear him because that place was quiet we were killing them.Im happy for Leon and i really cant blame the Jets for not bringing him back
@RobertPandolfo @MikeAnderson He wasnt a top NFL QB he was a rookie and a 2nd year player. The teams they beat I dont think many rookies could have done that.1 other thing remember Flacco and Ryan, they started the same way and fans were callind for their heads when regressed the 3rd season.
@MikeAnderson Actually I think that Sanchez is a quarterback that needs to be benched immediately. Yes, his throwing motion/ability to get the ball to his receivers is better than Tebow's, but I think Tebow gives the Jets a better chance to win than Sanchez. His running ability opens up their offense, and that's why he should be the starting quarterback over Sanchez.
its not the NCAA its the NFL.Ellway had a huge problem. He knew Tebow could NOT win in the NFL.He was lucky to go where they did last year. How many GMs would take a young QB who won a playoff game and trade him to bring in a 38 year oldQB who just missed a full season with a dangerous injury?NOT MANY.I know Peyton Manning is 1 of the top 5 in the history of the NFL,but he is 1 hit away from a life-changeing injury.I hope it never happens but iI think the odds are stacked against him. Here comes Woody with his new stadium, and his PSLs to take Tebow off his hands and woody is taking half the salary off his handsIf Ellway thought he could win with TEBOW he would still be there.I think a great ex-QB knows what wins.Peyton is the only guy that the fans would accept.Ellway paid a ton for Peyton.A career ending injury would hurt Denver financially but the fans would never regret the move
@James Gargano WOW... what a waste of time... I thought I was getting trhough to you... hell, over an hour ago you said you had to go to work.... and out of the blue you say Tebow is crap.... Sorry you don't know football like I do. You don't watch football interviews of Steve Young saying how good Tebow is... You didn't watch these announcers start to stick up for him last year..... Tebow was a breath of fresh air man. I've never seen so many people give him hate and he smiles and says something good back to them - Tebow has something, SOMETHING that you just can't put your finger on that makes him GREAT. .... I do hope the Jets Trade him, because so many NY teams have had it too good through the years.... I'd like to see Tebow go to a crappy team and take them to the Superbowl - a lot crappier than NY - damn, I guess I'll have to wait on that, cause the Jets are the Crappiest team I've ever waisted my time watching and hoping for - serious - the Jets are the worst..... and yet, I like Tebow so much, I'm willing to watch the crappy jets in hopes that he can pull out his underdog magic. .....it really is sad to see Tebow stuck on a team that doesn't believe in him - and after what you just said about him, I hope he is traded, cause you have a great guy in Tebow, and you don't deserbe him.... Have fun watching Sanchez - lol If he loses just 3 more, he'll be halfway to a so so season.... He's gonna lose more.... it's time for me to stop hoping for a Tebow vs Manning playoff, you're right, there are too many NY that think Sanchez is the Jets - That's sad.... I'm now feeling the Jets aren't going to give Tebow a shot and all the hours I spent watching, hoping and praying for the Jets WAS A WASTE OF TIME - JUST LIKE MY WRITINGS TO YOU, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME - - - go go Sanchez - get to that Bowl!!! the Toilet bowl is the only place that loser is going. SANCHEZ SUCKS I'm sorry you don't see that.... here is an Idea, why don't you start watching the Broncos and then you'll learn what winning is all about.
Forget that mirrorimage crap. The mirror image is the age and thats it.TEBOW WILL NEVER START A WHOLE SEASON AT QB unless there are injuries to the 1rst,2nd,3rd string QBS AND MAYBE EVEN THE TAXI SQUAD QB If I took over the Jets today I would trade him for a ball and a kicking tee,and I would pay his salary.Let me know when Tebow wins 4 road playoff games. Not in this lifetime
@James Gargano LOL .... c'mon James...you said: "THERE IS NO WAY HE WOULD TRADE HIM AND BRING IN A QB WHO IS 15 YEARS OLDER AND MAKES 20 TIMES THE SALARY" .........LOL , you don't know Elway - lol.... I'm sure he thought Tebow would bring Denver to a Superbowl or two, but he didn't think his "Style" would win CHAMPIONSHIPS. Elway is all about CHAMPIONSHIPS.... When Elway to this Job, he knew Manning wasn't going to be offered a contract - HE KNEW IT... We the Fans knew it. Half way through last season we knew the Colts were gonna get Luck - The logo on the side of their helments SCREAMED IT.... The Only way Tebow would of stayed with the Broncos is if he would of won the Superbowl - that's it.... ELWAY IS ALL ABOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS and if you would of watched his career like I did, it was obvious HE DIDN'T BELIEVE IN TEBOW'S STYLE..... I've watched football for nearly a half of a century - I've seen good players come and go..... Tebow is a diamond in the rough - that boy is gonna be great if he is given a chance... or, he could be out of the NFL and go into Preaching - I'll follow him ether way.... I won't follow Sanchez - he doesn't have what it takes, I'm sorry, but it's the truth.
1more before I leave for work.If Ellway thought he could win with Tebow, there is no way he would trade him and bring in a QB who is 15 years older and makes 20 times the salary.Thats financial suicide.I just hope that Peyton doesnt get hit the wrong way and end up in a wheelchair the rest of his life
@James Gargano You've got that all wrong... Elway did not get rid of Tebow because he couldn't win - wrong, wrong, wrong..... Elway grew up under his Dad teaching him to play a certain way, a logical, practical way of playing the game.... Manning grew up the same way.... Elway and Manning are mirror images of each other - really. One thing Elway had of Manning is how he barks when he gets the ball... Elway was the best at that... Manning says Hurry, hurry way to much, he could learn something from Elway there.
Why did Elway get rid of Tebow? HE DIDN'T LIKE HIS STYLE - PLAIN AND SIMPLE.... Elway was all Rock and Roll and Tebow had too much Country - best way I can describe why he didn't like Tebow.... as far as getting rid of him, When Tebow was winning last year and they showed Elway, you could tell, Elway just didn't like "His Style" - the funny thing is, I watched Elway from the start of his career, Tebow remided me of how he was... Elway RAN HIS ASS OFF the first three years until he broke his ribs - lol
ELWAY WANTED MANNING AND THAT IS WHY HE GOT RID OF TEBOW..... He knew Manning needed total support from the Fans and if Tebow would of been here, Manning wouldn't of gotten it. I bet, when Elway talked with Manning before Manning chose Denver, He told Manning: "We're one QB away from the Superbowl... just one.... the one we have did great last year, but you are a hall of famer and he is a rookie compared to you.... if you join us, I will trade him to get you better players, I'll trade him because I don't like his style and with me being in charge, I will get the players that play MY STYLE of football" .....Tebow is a WINNER - and that is why people, FANS love him - He IS the UNDERDOG, THE ROCKY OF FOOTBALL..... You can beat him and beat him, but if you don't knock him out, HE WILL FIND A WAY TO WIN - HE IS THE BEST AT "THE WINNING ATTITUDE"
@smaclemons Lol.... Sanchez's motion isn't better than Brady's, is it??? last year, the first game Tebow played Brady the announcer's showed a clip of Tebow that was reversed so he looked like he was right handed.... they put that side by side with Brady throwing - AMAZING - Tebow looked EXACTLY like Brady.... stop telling people you think Tebow's throwing motion is this or that, that is why he has no respect.... the only way this guy is going to play is if people stop saying he can't do this or that - HE CAN - AND THAT IS WHY HE IS IN THE NFL.... and the only way his stats are gonna look good is if you let him play - oh, Tebow beat Elwya's stats as QB the first year too - TEBOW IS BETTER THAN SANCHEZ AND WHEN PEOPLE START BELIEVING THAT, I'M GOING TO HAVE FUN WATCHING THE JETS - until then, Keep the Winning QB on the bench - STATS DON'T GET YOU TO THE PLAYOFF - ATTITUDE DOES, AND TEBOW HAS THE BEST WINNING ATTITUDE I'VE EVER SEEN IN THE NFL - argue with that one.
@James Gargano my whole gripe on this article is what I read at the begining.... that Sanchez is better than Tebow.... I DON'T AGREE WTIH IT. forget about what Sanchez did two years ago, it was the team, not the QB.... Forget about what Tebow did - last year, it was a little of each... the Broncos have always been a comeback team since I started watching them, it's just Tebow woke up a sleeping giant and got them going again - look at the Broncos this year, Manning doesn't play defense and did you see how they shut down the Chargers the second half and then the way they played the Saints? Fact is, the Jets aren't who they were 2 years ago and Sanchez wasn't the reason why they were who they were - it was the Defense. ....all I'm saying is, Sanchez has had his chance - HIS MANY CHANCES.... he didn't score a TD in the preseason.... HELLO... 4 games and no TDs!!!! Tebow's problem is his style, for one, he's left handed, the ball spins the opposite way, he throws best on the right side of the field instead of the left... he needs his best blocker at RT instead of LT..... the thing I liked best about Elway's first few years, is he didn't stay in the Pocket - Tebow won't run forever, and he's not going to play 16 years like Elway - he has a calling other than football and if you get to know Tebow you'll know that... Tebow may play a decade and if he is the starter, I would bet anyone he will win a championship, at least one..... Sanchez is not a better QB.... I don't feel him EVER winning a championship - EVER.....Marino had it all, and only one one championship.... if Tebow is given a team, say the jets and starts his winning ways, the team feeds off of it - Tebow has a thing about him that creates "Belief", his BEST and Greatest Power of the game of Football - If Marino would of had 50% of the "Belief Power" that Tebow rubs off on his team, Marino would of been known as the greatest QB ever.... TEBOW IS ALL ABOUT BELIEVING - MORE POWERFUL THAN ANY STATISTIC OUT THERE ON A QB. Nobody believes in Sanchez.... and the ones that do, like Ryan and you, are believing in a team, not Sanchez that existed two years ago - that team has fallen asleep and Sanchez is a sleep as well..... It's well beyond time to wake them up. TEBOW TIME IS WAY OVER DUE... and if you don't wake up soon and realize this, Tebow won't have enough time to gel with the team before the playoffs. Sanchez is not your answer - that is why Tebow is there.... many people feel Sanchez won't get benched and the only way Tebow will take over is if Sanchez gets hurt = I never root for players to get hurt, but in this case, it seems that's the only way I'll get to watch my favorite Comeback Kid - and I have had the pleasure of watching Elway and Manning, but nobody comes back like Tebow - it's a totally different style.
@MikeAnderson If they would run this thing the right way it could work 7 times a game, and on special teams he has converted 4th downs 3 times. But why is nobody saying anything about how he blew his assignment sunday and took the Jets out of the game early. He makes his block there is no blocked punt for a TD It was 482 games ago when the last punt was blocked for a TD.Back to Tebow and Sanchez,Sparano does NOT know what hes doing. If it was smooth transition bringing him in it would work but ITS NOT SMOOTH.Takes too long and it takes 11 players to 10 because either mark or Tim are in a receivers position.Line them both up in the backfield and then you may be able to confuse some defenses. What really bothers me is every time Mark is moveing the ball ina rhythm useing play-action(thats his strongest game)He completes a pass for 25 yards, here comes Tebow ,most of the time late, eiyher they rush the play or blow a timeout. If hes moveing the team let mark play and forget that red-zone crap, look at Marks stats in the red-zone before this season,I think you will be surprised how good he was.Mike thanks for the conversation I have to go to work. But maybe we could pick it up later. The remark about the 1rst season is only to weed out the bandwagon jumpers
@James Gargano I'm sorry to disappoint you, this is not my first year watching football. I seen The Broncos first Superbowl against the Cowboys - when the Cowboys made a name for themselves as "America's Team" - and now, the Cowboys have one of the worst Broncos QBs as their backup, but ya know what, Orton would probably do better if given a chance there. Orton's problem is he throws the ball short ALL THE TIME when he needs to go past the yard markers... If Orton would get that bad habit out of his system, he just might be what the Cowboys need..... OK..... let's get back to Tebow and Sanchez..... I understand you must be a Jets fan that watched the Jets in the playoffs 2 years ago.... that was then... this is now. Your team picked up Tebow - and if they aren't going to use him the way they said during the off season, then you understand why as a FOOTBALL FAN I'm disappointed in the Jets.... I'm disappointed because Tebow is Too good of a FOOTBALL PLAYER to sit him on the bench. ....i admire that you think Sanchez should be given chances, but how many chances do you want to give him? You've got people, PLAYERS and FANS recognizing that the Jets aren't giving their all - WHY? Because Teams have a way of doing that when a QB can't perform and they have faith in their back up.... Believe me, after Tebow plays and really starts clicking with the team, You'll wonder what you ever saw in Sanchez..... I'm not commenting to say how Sanchez was, I'm here saying he's HORRIBLE this year, he should of been benched - forget about who is coming in for him - SANCHEZ SUCKS THIS YEAR... .and I'm sorry, once a QB has played a couple years in the NFL, they can't declare their having their ROOKIE SEASON NOW - LOL - as a fan of Football, I can't believe you said that..... and I have shown you that I have watched Football back in the mid 70s.... I bet you weren't even born til the late 80s - lol ......so, let me tell you, back in the day, RB were what moved the ball.... now, you have the time of the QB - and really, 1983 the class of the QB entered the league, so the league really started leaning on the QB being the ball mover.... What you have in Tebow is special, You have a QB that knows how to move his feet, how to feel pressure before the sack.... A lot of QBs don't have this.... Tebow's passing skills will only get better and he's proven he can throw the ball against the best..... Sanchez WILL NEVER LEARN to move his feet or gain awareness of the pressure - he should of learned this way, way long ago and he's not showing any signs of this. IF YOU WANT SANCHEZ, I'm all for it, the Jets will miss the Playoffs. I'M AFRAID IF Tebow starts soon, he can become a force at playoff time..... I'd love to see Tebow VS the Broncos in the Playoffs - unfortunately, I know how much Tebow's excitement for the game can Prevent my Broncos from going to the Superbowl, but ya know what? If the Broncos are gonna get knocked off in the playoffs, there is only one team that I want to see do that - that is Tebow and his Jets..... Sanchez WILL NOT KNOCK OUT THE BRONCOS - I GUARANTY THAT - TEBOW SCARES ME.
Did you want to dump him after his 1rst 2 seasons? @MikeAnderson @RobertPandolfo @smaclemons
Tebow won 1 playoff game at home Sanchez won 4 playoff games on the road.If you think you can win in the NFL with a college offense this is your !rst year watching The NFL
@RobertPandolfo @smaclemons ENTERTAINMENT! Damn good response. The most exciting game I've seen in the last decade was when Tebow PASSED past the number one defense, the defending AFC Champ Pittsburgh Steelers in the playoffs - AND THE WRITER HAS THE NERVE TO SAY SANCHEZ IS A BETTER PASSER - LOL.... I guess the writer is going to be standing in the unemployment line next to Ryan and Sanchez next year - lol
@MikeAnderson @smaclemons Ryan picked Sanchez and has stuck with him and it will probably cost him his job. Sanchez is one of the worst QB's in the league. Why the Jets don't use Tebow more is puzzling. Football is a form of entertainment and Tebow was one of the most exciting players in the league last year.
