Recruit stunned by Chip Kelly departure

The news is out, according to the NFL Network anyway, that Chip Kelly will leave Oregon to be the new head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. The news broke about a week and a half after Kelly reportedly chose to stay at Oregon. The news has everyone scratching their heads, even Oregon's recruiting class.

Nico Falah, a recruit of Kelly's, took to Twitter in stunned amazement.

Chip Kelly left?!?! He was at my house 2 days ago

Falah has already committed to USC, but it seems to be something of a soft commitment. With Kelly gone, Oregon likely won't be on his short list any longer, but the reaction tells the tale of how everyone is feeling today.

Kelly went 46-7 as the Oregon Ducks' head coach. We're not sure exactly why he seemingly changed his mind, heading to Philadelphia instead of staying where he was, but we'll likely gain more insight into that in the coming weeks.
