JaMarcus Russell is thin! (sort of)

Few have ever questioned JaMarcus Russell's talent and ability. Instead, it's always been about his approach to the game and his work ethic. That's why Russell didn't cut it in Oakland and was out of football only three years after he was drafted first overall. 

But Russell seems to have his head on straight as he makes an aggressive, public attempt at a comeback four years after being cast aside by the Raiders. 

With Bleacher Report following him stride for stride to document the noble effort, Russell managed to shed 50 pounds to return to his rookie weight of 265 in just a few short months. 

Despite some mild interest, he's yet to find a job. But maybe this recent shot of the 265-pound 27-year-old will help his case:
