Every year, a few teams do and say things that make us scratch our heads and wonder who exactly makes decisions for those organizations. This year is no different, and as usual, we have a great list of dysfunctional teams trying to win games in the NFL.
New York Giants
The Giants are a laughable team. Basically, a once great team has aged into oblivion, and now the Giants appear to be a shadow of their former selves.
This week, safety Antrel Rolle gave us our best nugget of denial by a Giants player, saying via NFL.com, “I believe we can go 12-0 from this point on. And I truly believe that and I'm not (just) saying that. And people may look at me like I'm crazy, but you know, I couldn't really give a damn at this point.”
At 0-4, it’s obvious the Jaguars are a bad football team, but upon inspecting their offensive production, it becomes obvious just how terrible this team is. The Jaguars have scored just 31 points in four games, and they’ve given up 129 points in that same span.
The kicker is the Jaguars’ attitude. In last weekend’s game against the Colts, the Jaguars were described as the most positive 0-3 team the broadcaster had ever seen. From the sound of it, the Jags are lacking any sense of urgency, and that doesn’t bode well for this team.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Giants and the Jaguars are terrible teams that appear to be in denial of their own fate. The Buccaneers, however, are this year’s circus, taking the place of the New York Jets on this list.
The Buccaneers’ dysfunction stems from their quarterback drama, which in turn is centered around Josh Freeman. Most recently, it was “leaked” that the Bucs’ former starting quarterback is in stage one of the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. That “leak” is rumored to have come from head coach Greg Schiano, making the Bucs the pettiest team in the NFL, and earning them the title of “Most Dysfunctional NFL Team of 2013.”

I full-Ly agree the Josh should have never got out it shows someone is trying to make him be the bad guy weather he is or not,
I HATE the NFL -- tired of all the freaks & hair flyin' out from under the helmits.
Commish: Make those sissies tie their hair back in a bun & wear UNDER their helmit.
Commish: Make offensive / defensive HEAVILY TATTOOED 'freak-a-zoids' wear long sleeves
Bring back some class & style to the league.
We don't need to see everytime Tom Brady spits or picks his nose. etc.
Like I said, THIS will probably be my last year watching.
Hey, what about the Raiduhs? It seems Al's ghost is still screwing them up despite Reggie Mackenzie.
Most dysfunctional team: New England Pat's with the super brain super ego coach Belechick. He keeps piling-up low round picks that he uses to try and re-do the Bradey pick(Only super brained, super ego coaches can do that or extremely lucky schmucks) Instead he could pack some of those picks and trade up for a top selection like Atlanta did awhile back. No that doesn't display super brai, super geniuses ability. The Pat's/Coach ego doesn't re-sign those veterans that have made a career in New England and could make Brady's last few years his best and give the franchise a real chance to win a few more championships. The media suck-ups love to label Coach ego a genius and he likes the self titled super genius himself so don't give thos problematic vets room to take away his genius. Super coach brings in two TE and makes like he re-invented the wheel with that formation but he has two TE's he drafted that sparkle he signs one to big money and he's multiple murderer. the other'e a dummy and is always hurt..
@PacoNMartinez Nice! Really well said and true. I see that the NFL is so powerful due to strong viewership men(18-39)years old they carry huge advertising numbers. As you say over-all the game and it's players lack any real talent and show no charisma. The NFL and sports as a whole need an influx of real men not sipletons who look like cartoon characters and act (on and off the field) like criminals.
@Topazinator What have the "Raiduhs" done that is so dysfunctional? They almost beat the Colts in Indy (lost in the last 5 minutes), they lost by 16 points to the powerful Bronco's (in Den) and FYI, the other 3 teams Den played lost by 18, 22 & 32, and then had to start their back-up QB who I might add is GARBAGE in their last game.
So again, what is it they have done that should warrant them being added to this list?
@Jerseysmelltours And the truth shall set you free.
Well, it's past my bedtime so I'll go comb my beard, say my prayers and go to sleep.
God bless you....ENCOURAGE one another...an admonition of the Scriptures (I believe it was the Apostle Paul).
