Video: All 7 of Peyton Manning’s touchdowns from the season opener

Sid Luckman, Adrian Burk, George Blanda, YA Tittle, Joe Kapp, and Peyton Manning.

That's the exclusive list of NFL quarterbacks who have thrown 7 touchdowns in a single game.

Thursday's opener wasn't all about lightning delays and boneheaded plays.  Peyton Manning blitzed the defending champion Baltimore Ravens last night by going 27/42 for 462 yards and a record-tying 7 TD passes.  Manning is the first since legendary tough guy and senior citizen brawler Joe Kapp did so for the Vikings in 1969.  To put that number in perspective, the Kansas City Chiefs threw 8 TDs all season last year.

Here's video of all 7 of Peyton Manning's touchdown passes in the 49-27 victory:

With the emergence of TE Julius Thomas (5 catches, 110 yards, 2 TDs) and acquisition of Wes Welker (9 catches, 67 yards, 2 TDs) to go along with top receiver Demaryius Thomas (5 catches, 161 yards, 1 TD) the Broncos passing offense looks scary good.

The Broncos passing game can hurt you in every way possible.  Welker was dynamite in the red zone and with his typical underneath routes in the slot.  Thomas showed his big play ability by taking a screen pass 78 yards to the endzone.  And then there was Julius Thomas as the breakout star breaking the Ravens wide open down the seam.  It's only one game yes, but with this receiving corps Manning and the Broncos look set to challenge some of the astronomical passing numbers we've seen put up over the past decade.
