Boys and Girls, Children of all ages lets get ready for some football. The beginning of football also means the beginning of the billion dollar fantasy football industry. This segment plans on bringing letting you know weekly whether to start’ em or sit’ em, getting you ready for each week on your fantasy football schedule.
So lets get attem here are the Week 1 Start em’ or Sit em’.
Quarterbacks (Start em')
Aaron Rodgers - You kidding me this gunslinger is as sexy as a fantasy QB can get and should be in for a shoot out against the Saints.
Mike Vick - Running, passing, whatever the hell he is doing on the field you can be sure he will be scoring you major points
Drew Brees -Should be the other beneficiary of the opening night shoot out.
Tom Brady - Unfortunately he wont get extra points for his Bieber like hair.
Philip Rivers - Get er' done!
Josh Freeman -Young stud QB has a great opening day match up.
Matt Schaub - No Peyton? No Problem.
Kyle Orton - At least he's not Tebow. Oak secondary without Nnamdi looks mighty juicy
Fantasy Sleepers: Colt McCoy, Kevin Kolb
Quarterbacks (Sit em’)
Tony Romo -Rough week 1 match up playing the aggressive Jets
Big Ben -Pitt vs. Baltimore is hardcore true old school football, but also low scoring fantasy football
Joe Flacco- See above.
Kerry Collins- Hahahaaa
Running Backs (Start Em’)
Chris Johnson - He is fresh and poised to prove he is worth every penny from week 1
Jamaal Charles - Buffalo’s run D just flat out sucks
LeSean McCoy - Look for Philly’s dream team to want to make a big impression early
Frank Gore - Gore’s biggest career games have come at the expense of the Seahawks defence.
Darren McFadden - Not 100% healthy but he never is, still expect big things from Dmac all year long.
Peyton Hillis- Why not?
Running Backs (Sit Em)
Ryan Mathews
Ray Rice - I wouldn’t sit him but I also wouldn’t expect typical top 10 RB numbers from him this week
Benjarvus Green Ellis - Brady looks those big TE in the redzone and Miami has a very solid run D
Steven Jackson - Similar situation to Rice
Mark Ingram - Might take some time to get the rookie acclimated into the offense
Fantasy Football Sleeper: Reggie Bush
Wide Receivers (Start em')
Andre Johnson - As long as he is healthy he should be the number 1 WR in fantasy this year
Larry Fitzgerald - Should be nice having an actual QB this year
Hakeem Nicks
Roddy White
Marques Colston - Lance Moore might be a game time decision which would up Colstons value
Calvin Johnson - His name is Megatron for a reason, hopefully he doesn’t get screwed by the ref week 1 again this year.
Brandon Lloyd - Oakland's secondary is very suspect this year
Vincent Jackson
DeSean Jackson
Fantasy Football Sleepers: Braylon Edwards (Crabtree might not play) Jordy Nelson, Julio Jones
Wide Receiver (Sit em’)
Miles Austin - Might get a heavy dose of Revis Island this week
Greg Jennings - Not expecting top 10 WR numbers due to emergence of Finley
Pierre Garcon - Peyton’s neck will cost a lot of people fantasy W’s
Sidney Rice - Buzz going around that Rice might not even play this week due to injury
Lee Evans - Been bothered by injuries all week long
Tight Ends (Start em’)
Antonio Gates - He is the best Tight End in football and in fantasy
Jermichael Finley - A Rod will want to use his favourite toy right away
Jason Witten - The Jets corners should be sticking to Dez and Austin leaving Witten with some room.
Vernon Davis - Should be the number 1 WR in San Fran even though he is a TE
Jimmy Graham
Fantasy Football Sleeper: Zach Miller, Evan Moore, Greg Olsen
Tight Ends (Sit em’)
Dustin Keller
Dallas Clark - don’t expect as good numbers with Collins as you would with Peyton
Ben Watson
